Care for Colorado Coalition

Join forces with the Colorado Tourism Office and the Leave No Trace Center for Outdoor Ethics to promote responsible tourism and protect Colorado’s valuable resources. Become a Stewardship Partner or Stewardship Member. As a partner or member, you will gain access to share all the branded messaging and resources produced by the Colorado Tourism Office to promote Care for Colorado as well as additional benefits and recognition described below.

HOW TO BECOME A CARE FOR COLORADO COALITION STEWARDSHIP PARTNER

If you are a statewide or regional trade association, statewide/federal agency or travel-related business you are eligible to become a Stewardship Partner. Each Stewardship Partner signs an individual annual agreement with the Colorado Tourism Office and the Leave No Trace Center for Outdoor Ethics agreeing to help promote not only the Care for Colorado messaging but also the opportunity for members/users/employees to become part of this important initiative. Statewide trade associations and government agencies are exempted from membership fees. Complete the Stewardship Partner enquiry form here. HOW TO BECOME A CARE FOR COLORADO COALITION STEWARDSHIP MEMBER

If you are a member of a trade association, statewide/federal agency or employee of a for-profit business that is a Stewardship Partner, you are eligible to become a Stewardship Member. When you sign up to become a Stewardship Member you demonstrate an even deeper commitment to Colorado stewardship and sustainability.

CARE FOR COLORADO COALITION STEWARDSHIP PARTNER & MEMBER BENEFITS

  1. Use of official Care for Colorado Coalition Stewardship Partner or Member Digital Badge.
  2. Recognition on the Leave No Trace website as an official Care for Colorado Coalition Stewardship Partner or Member.
  3. Recognition as a Care for Colorado Coalition Stewardship Partner or Member on the Care for Colorado Coalition industry micro-site site created by the CTO on Colorado.com.
  4. Recognition in references on Colorado.com, CTO publications and in other CTO-owned channels as appropriate.
  5. Permission to use the Care for Colorado Principles in the organization’s messaging language, including but not limited to visitor guides, brochures, website and social media/channels, in accordance with guidelines set by CTO.
  6. Permission to customize the CTO's "Are You Colo-Ready?" brochure to communicate Colorado travel tips and the Care for Colorado Principles for the Stewardship Member's targeted audiences, in accordance with guidelines set by CTO. (Production and publication of the brochure would be at the Partner's expense, with oversight from CTO.)
  7. Subscription to the Care for Colorado Coalition e-newsletter produced and distributed by the CTO in partnership with the Leave No Center for Outdoor Ethics.
