Governor's Tourism Conference Professional Scholarship (On hold as GovCon is now free for the first 1,000 registrants.)

Given the challenges so many of our partners are facing this year, the Colorado Tourism Office announced this morning that registration for this year’s conference will now be complimentary for all attendees!

Overview

The Governor's Tourism Conference Professional Scholarship provides funding for professionals with a proven dedication to Colorado tourism to attend the Colorado Governor's Tourism Conference. The scholarship includes conference registration for this year's virtual event on September 17, 2020.  The Colorado Tourism Office will handle the registration for all scholarship recipients.  Learn More >>

Timeframe

Round One:

  • Application Open - July 1, 2020
  • Application Closes - August 14, 2020 at 4:00 pm (NEW extended deadline)
  • Recipient Notification - August 18, 2020

Round Two (reopening):  On Hold as Gov Con is now free for the first 1,000 registrations.

  • Application Open - August 25, 2020
  • Application Closes - September 4, 2020 at 1:00 pm 
  • Recipient Notification - September 8, 2020

Award Amount

The Colorado Tourism Office will cover and handle the registration for all scholarship recipients.

Eligibility Snapshot

At the time an application is submitted, an applicant must be:

  • A resident of Colorado involved with, or in, the tourism industry
  • First-time attendee of the Colorado Governor's Tourism Conference. 

 

 

 

 

CRAFT Implementation Grants

CRAFT Studio 101 Implementation Grant

After successful completion of CRAFT Studio 101, participating communities or regions are eligible to apply for funding to implement a key priority determined during program. Up to $10,000 is available for CRAFT Studio 101 Implementation Grant. Guidelines >>

  • Implementation requests must be aligned with and support tourism outcomes or next steps identified during CRAFT Studio 101
  • Applications are due within 90 days after completion of Day Six of CRAFT Studio 101
  • Projects must be complete within a 12-month timeframe

CRAFT Studio 201 Implementation Grant

After successful completion of CRAFT Studio 201, communities are eligible to apply for funding to implement a key priority determined during the program. Up to $7,500 is available for CRAFT Studio 201 Implementation Grant. Guidelines >>

  • Implementation requests must be aligned with and support tourism outcomes or next steps identified during CRAFT Studio 201
  • Applications are due within 90 days after CRAFT Studio 201 scope completion
  • Projects must be complete within a 12-month timeframe

CRAFT Workshop Implementation Grant

After successful completion of CRAFT Workshop, communities are eligible to apply for funding to implement a key priority determined during the program. Up to $2,500 is available for CRAFT Studio 201 Implementation Grant. Guidelines >>

  • Implementation requests must be aligned with and support tourism outcomes or next steps identified during CRAFT Workshop
  • Applications are due within 90 days after CRAFT Workshop
  • Projects must be complete within a 12-month timeframe

CRAFT Mentor Implementation Grant

 After successful completion of CRAFT Mentor, participants are eligible to apply for funding up to implement a key priority determined during the program. Up to $1,000 is available for CRAFT Mentor Implementation Grant. Guidelines >>

  • Implementation requests must be aligned with and support tourism outcomes or next steps identified during CRAFT Mentor
  • Applications are due within 90 days after completion of CRAFT Mentor
  • Projects must be complete within a 6-month timeframe

Marketing Matching Grant Program

Colorado Tourism Office’s Marketing Matching Grant Program provides funding to not-for-profit organizations in the state of Colorado for the purpose of promoting the state or a region as a tourism destination. The overall goal of the program is to increase tourism revenues and economic benefit within the state through unique and effective marketing opportunities. Learn more >>

Tourism Development Grant Program

The Colorado Tourism Office’s Tourism Development Grant Program provides funding to local Colorado municipalities. The purposes of the program is to support projects that contribute to the development of the tourism industry statewide. Learn more >>
