Program Overview

Tourism Development Grant  
The Colorado Tourism Office’s Tourism Development Grant Program provides funding to local Colorado municipalities, Colorado city or county governments, or not-for-profit tourism organizations in the State of Colorado for the purpose of supporting projects that contribute to the development of the tourism industry statewide. Projects will target the technical development of tourism and support NEW efforts and initiatives. These grants are competitive and are awarded annually.

Timeframe
Application opens up once a year

Application Opens: April 9, 2020 (Postponed)
Application Deadline: May 21, 2020 at 4:00PM (Postponed)

Recipient Notification: July 1, 2020 (Postponed)

Award Amount
Grants: Up to $15,000

Cash Match
Minimum: 25%

Eligibility Snapshot

  • Nonprofit or not-for-profit organizations or associations in the State of Colorado whose tourism-related activities will benefit the entire state or region.
  • Local Colorado municipalities, Colorado city or county governments whose tourism-related activities will benefit the entire state or region.
  • Each applicant is limited to one Tourism Development Grant project per fiscal year.
  • Marketing and website development are not eligible projects.
